The Circus is Coming to Town!
Lions, tigers and clowns will get into the “act” at the 2010 Arab Shrine Circus, February 26, 27 and 28, with 5 amazing performances at the Kansas Expocentre. With the weather cold and the economy struggling, the Circus is a wholesome, affordable indoor activity that the whole family can enjoy! This is the 71st year for the Arab Shrine Circus in Topeka.

Friday - 7:30pm
Saturday 1:30 pm and 7:30
Sunday 12:30pm and 5:30pm

Tickets are available at the Arab Shrine Temple, 1305 Kansas Ave., Dillons and Hy-Vee stores in Topeka. In Emporia, they are available at Bad Ol' Berns BBQ, Crawford Furniture and Guion Showcase Furniture. Tickets can be purchased in Lawrence at the Dillons and Hy-Vee stores. Tickets are also available at the Expocentre Box Office.

Tickets for children under 12, $10 for general admission and $13.00 for reserved seats. Adult ticket prices are $13.50 for general admission and $16.50 for reserved seats.

The Arab Shrine Circus is produced by Hamid Circus Inc., a family owned business since 1932. James M. Hamid Jr., the fourth generation to take the circus reins. His great-grandfather was born in Lebanon but came to the United States when he was 12 years old with his uncle's acrobatic troupe. He learned to read and write in English by Annie Oakley and given his show business ABC's by legendary showman Buffalo Bill.
